40 m³/hr - Water Softener Plant With Demineralization & Reverse Osmosis
Vessel Type: Stainless Steel (SS)
This project involved the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 40 cubic meters per hour (40 m³/hr) water treatment system consisting of a Water Softener Unit, Demineralization (DM) Plant, and Reverse Osmosis (RO) System.
The system was engineered to ensure consistent production of high-quality treated water suitable for industrial process applications, boiler feed water, cooling systems, and other critical operations requiring low hardness and low TDS water.
1️⃣ Water Softener Unit
Type: SS vessel-type pressure system
Media: High-capacity cation exchange resin
Purpose: Removal of hardness (Calcium & Magnesium ions)
Operation: Automatic regeneration with brine solution
Control Valve: Fully automatic multiport valve
Design: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel tank with internal strainer and distribution system
This stage reduces scaling potential and protects downstream equipment such as RO membranes and DM resins.
2️⃣ Reverse Osmosis (RO) System
Capacity: 2 m³/hr
Membranes: High-efficiency thin-film composite membranes
TDS Reduction: Up to 95–99%
Instrumentation: Pressure gauges, flow meters, conductivity meter
The RO system effectively removes dissolved salts, organics, suspended solids, and microorganisms.
3️⃣ Demineralization (DM) Plant
Type: Cation + Anion Exchange System
Output Quality: Near-zero hardness and very low conductivity
Application: High-pressure boiler feed and process water
The DM plant ensures complete removal of ionic impurities to achieve ultra-pure water standards.

100 m³/hr - Water Softener Plant
Vessel Type: MS (Mild Steel) Tank
This project involved the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of a 100 cubic meters per hour (100 m³/hr) industrial Water Softening Plant.
The system was developed to remove hardness from raw water and supply consistent soft water for industrial operations such as boiler feed, cooling towers, process lines, and utility services.
The plant was constructed using MS (Mild Steel) tank-type pressure vessels with proper internal anti-corrosion coating to ensure long service life and structural strength.
1️⃣ Softener Vessel
Type: MS fabricated tank (pressure type)
Internal Coating: Food-grade epoxy / anti-corrosive lining
Design Pressure: As per site requirement
Media: High-capacity cation exchange resin
Underdrain System: HDPE / SS distributor system
The MS tank was fabricated with proper thickness calculation and reinforcement to handle continuous industrial operation.
2️⃣ Resin & Softening Process
Removes Calcium (Ca²⁺) and Magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions
Reduces hardness to near-zero levels
Protects boiler tubes, pipelines, and heat exchangers from scaling
Ensures improved system efficiency and longer equipment lifespan
3️⃣ Regeneration System
Automatic / Semi-automatic multiport valve system
Brine tank for resin regeneration
Salt dosing system
Backwash and rinse cycle configuration
The regeneration process ensures continuous performance and maintains consistent water quality.
